An Easter message from Pastor Baerwolf… A Blessed and Happy Easter to all of you this Lord’s Day! For many of us Christmas is the highlight of the church year. Often the attention given to Christmas leaves Easter in its shadow but Easter is the rightful "Queen of Feasts." St. Paul would remind us today that without the resurrection our hope is empty and our faith is an illusion. But Jesus has been raised from the dead and on this Easter morning we celebrate that "in Christ we, too, shall be made alive!"
April Mission is Sleep in Heavenly Peace, they provide twin beds for those in need in the Tri-City area. If your kids are sleeping in unwanted conditions like on the floor, sofa or even in bed with mom or siblings, SHP can help. See the missions table in the Great Hall for more information and a list of needs.
We are so grateful for our Food Pantry Team and all they do to keep the pantry running so well. This weekend, Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, there will be a door offering at the end of each service for Zion to provide financial assistance to our Food Pantry that provides such blessings to our community.
