Join Us In Worship
Each time we gather for worship, we focus our hearts on the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus as we listen to God’s Word. On Sunday morning, we gather for worship following the traditional liturgies of the church and singing hymns from the Lutheran Service Book.
During our midweek worship service on Wednesday evening, we gather in the Great Hall for a more informal worship time which features some hymns and a shortened liturgy. Our Saturday afternoon contemporary worship service features our music team, Rock of Zion, leading our singing.
Caring Education
Zion Lutheran School has a place for your child. Since our earliest days, our congregation has been committed to providing quality Christ-centered education for kids in our church and community.
We offer childcare services for infants and toddlers, a terrific preschool environment for your kids and a quality kindergarten through eighth grade nationally accredited school where kids will learn about Jesus’ love for them and the wonders of this world. We provide a safe, secure, stable environment for our students and their families where every child is valued, prayed for and loved.

We gather for worship this Pentecost weekend to celebrate and thank the Lord for the gift of the Holy Spirit--poured out on the disciples so long ago and shared with us as God's people hear God's Word, celebrate the Lord's Supper and rejoice in the fellowship of the faithful. Zion worships on Saturday afternoon at 5, Sunday morning at 9:30 and Wednesday evening at 7.

There is no Wednesday worship at Zion as we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus on Thursday, May 14 joining our sister churches of the Bay City Circuit to remember and rejoice on the day when Jesus returns to heaven to prepare a place for us. We will sing these beautiful new words of an ancient hymn,
"So fix our hearts on things above,
Where reigns our Savior in His love;
Till clouds shall part and He appear,
And every eye His face shall see."
Worship begins at 7 on Thursday evening and refreshments will follow in the Great Hall.
